The temp. of concrete is measured continuously with an indicator, such as a thermistor or thermo-element which provides signals to a micro-processor programmed with tendency curves for different types of cement and the hardening qualities of cement mixtures. The degree of cement maturity is then shown on a display unit. - The indicator is cast firmly into the concrete, and the micro-processor with associated memory is fitted in a fixed part coupled to one or more indicators whose signals are processed by the former and stored by the latter. The read-out unit contains a control for the micro-processor, and a display for direct reading of the concrete degree of maturity is connected to the fixed part. All components are capable of operation at temperatures down to -20 degrees Celsius. |
