A braking power regulator for motor vehicles comprises a brake pedal (20), a brake regulator (14) and sensors (24, 33, 34) to detect the values of the driving state of the vehicle which act on the brake regulator (14). The brake pedal (20) provides a rated value (Zs) of the deceleration (Z) of the vehicle, the actual value is obtained, and the brake regulator (14) is controlled according to the difference between the rated value and the actual value. A control dependent on the slipping and the adherence between the road and the wheel, on the deceleration of the wheel and on the axle loads, as well as a test stage (32) are also provided. |
