The headlight (1) has a light source module (27) provided with a substrate (23) and an LED (19) arranged on the substrate. A projection lens (16) is traversed by a light emitted from a light emitting surface of the LED. A heat sink (28) is fixed to the light source module, and has radiating fins (28b) for radiating heat generated by the LED. A driving unit (29) e.g. driving motor, rotates the heat sink in a horizontal direction. The light emitting surface of the LED is displaced on a focusing surface of the lens during the rotation of the heat sink.
