Self-adhesive tile is prepared by coating the contacting surface with an adhesive. Components of the surface material are dispersed compounds in solvent, water-sol. adhesives, and if necessary, sol. adhesives. Suitable solvents are alcohol, acetone or hydrocarbons. A sol. adhesive of 0.1-1.0 wt.% is mixed with the solvents. The adhesives are polyvinylacetate, rubber, polyethyleneglycol, or other resins. Water-sol. adhe-sives are polyvinyl alcohol, methylcellulose, carboxymethyl-cellulose, arabia rubber, natural rubber, or casein. The compounding material is Portland cement, high-quality alumina cement, or CaSO4.
