PURPOSE:To realize a quick image processing by deciding the dot of a picture element to be jointed following a start point from an angle made with a straight line connecting the start and end points of a line segment and with a straight line being a reference and repeating the processing. CONSTITUTION:The inclination of a line segment a-b is compared with that of a line segment a-m and that of a line segment a-n. If the inclination of the line segment a-b is greater than that of the line segment a-m, a symbol C1 is selected. If the inclination of the line segment a-b is lower than that of the line segment a-m and greater than that of the line segment a-n, a symbol C2 is selected. If the inclination of the line segment a-b is lower than that of the line segment a-n, a symbol C3 is selected. Next, with the selected C2 as a new start point a dot being a next picture element is selected by the same procedure, and such an operation is repeated until the operation reaches a point (b). |
