PURPOSE:To facilitate assembly and disassembly of a unit mounted easily detachably from the main body of a copying machine, by supporting a photosensitive drum and a developing device with supports fixed with screws to 2 support plates, and joining both into one body. CONSTITUTION:A unit comprising a developing device 14 and a photosensitive drum 10 is drawn out of the main body 2 of a copying machine by sliding guide members 66, 68 on rails 70, 72 to permit check and removal of paper jam. The drum 10 and the device 14 are held with exact relative position maintained by screwing their supports 110, 112, 126, 128 with front and rear support plates 60, 62. Disassembly and assembly are easy because of such screwing. |
