PURPOSE:To enhance coatability and to prevent accumulation of residual electrostatic charge, by using an alkyd resin as an undercoat layer. CONSTITUTION:An alkyd resin is applied as an undercoat layer to about 5mum thickness onto a base made of a metal, such as aluminum, brass, or stainless steel, or a polymer, such as polyethylene terephthalate or phenolic resin, or a hard paper, or the like. This layer is coated with zinc oxide sensitized with a dye, a phthalocyanine pigment, an oxadiazole pigment, etc. mixed with a binder resin, when needed to form a photosensitive layer. |
