PURPOSE:To read displayed information from after with a relatively simple constitution, by irradiating an information display with an optical beam and receiving the reflected beam and reading information outputted from the light receiving means. CONSTITUTION:When a storage member 14 is moved, an information display 6 is irradiated with a laser beam LB1 while being scanned by the laser beam. As the result, the beam LB1 is reflected by a reflective tape stuck to the surface of the display 6 with a prescribed pattern, and a reflected beam LB2 is incident to a photoelectric transducer 13 through a half mirror 12. Information corresponding to a binary code of the reflective tape stuck to the surface of the display 6 is outputted from the transducer 13. This information is given to a display 3 and a printer 4 through an amplifier 2 and is displayed and printed out, and this information is stored in a memory 5, thus reading information. Since the electric wiring or the like for information read is unnecessary, informa tion is read very easily. |
