PURPOSE:To obtain sufficient surface potential even in case of a small film thickness by setting a film formed by applying a photoconductive coating at a specified temp. below the temp. of the coating. CONSTITUTION:A photoconductive coating contg. photoconductive particles of Cu2O, Cu, ZnO, ZnS, CdS, CdTe or the like and a binder such as epoxy resin, unsated. polyester or PVC is applied to form a film. The film is set at a temp. 5-20 deg.C below the temp. of the coating to fix the existing state of the photoconductive particles in the film. For example, a cylinder 3 is dipped in the photoconductive coating 2 held in a pot 1 and pulled up from the coating 2 by a liftable stand 6. A film 4 is formed on the surface of the cylinder 3, and it is set at a temp. controlled by a cylindrical thermomodule 5 for a controlled time. |
