PURPOSE:To improve the measuring accuracy while reducing the measuring time by a calculation to determine the incoming direction of radio wave. CONSTITUTION:A quantized waveform data 21 is memorized into a display memory 22. The memorized data is read out sequentially and expanded to a desired magnification to be indicated into a display 23. A cursor generation circuit 24 indicates cursor lines C1 and C2, which are movable at an equi-space in the direction of azimuth by operating an operation element of the circuit 24, while the space between the cursor lines C1 and C2 is set with a space varying circuit 25. When a point (a) is specified in a data 21 by the cursor line C1, the point (b) is specified by the cursor line C2 separated at distance therefrom. The position of the points are read out with a cursor line reader 26 to be fed to an azimuth computation unit 27. The computation unit 27 obtain the approximation of two straight lines running between the points (a) and (b) and two or three azimuth data therenear and the data of the straight lines are fed to an intersection computation unit 23 to determine the intersection thereof. The intersection data are converted to an azimuth character data with a memory table made up of ROMs and the like and indicated. |
