<p>PURPOSE:To make indication by plane coordinates feasible on the surface of the cathode-ray tube of a television or the like, by constituting a pair of transparent conductive films facing each other with curved faces. CONSTITUTION:An analog touch panel 1 where plane coordinates are indicated consists of a pair of transparent conductive films 2 and 3, a spacer 4, and electrodes 5-8. The front-side film 2 consists of, for example, polyethylene terephthalate resin base layer 9 and an expansible gold thin film layer 10 forming a conductive face, and electrodes 5 and 6 consisting of copper thin films are fixed along both side edges of the rear face of this layer 10. The rear-side film 3 has the same constitution as the film 2, and a resin base layer 11 is backed with a polycarbonate resin layer 13. A radius R2 of curvature of the film 3 is made shorter than a radius R1 of curvature of the film 2, and lead wires 14-17 are led out from electrodes 5-8 respectively. The panel 1 is stuck close to the surface of, for example, the cathode-ray tube of the television, and a point on the film 2 corresponding to the point, whose coordinates should be detected, on a picture of the cathode-ray tube is pressed with a touch pen to bring the conductive face 10 and a conductive face 12 of the film 3 into contact with each other at this point, thus indicating coordinates.</p> |
