PURPOSE:A cosmetic that contains a novel polyglycerol ether type compound as a nonionic surface active agent, thus showing high stability and safety, because of its scarce elution of formalin, scarce change in pH, improved antioxidative performance, high antiseptic effect and shortened defoaming time. CONSTITUTION:A polyglycerol ether type compound of the formula (R is 8- 36C saturated, unsaturated alcohol residue; n is integer of 7-60) such as polyglycerol (10)myristyl alcohol, polyglycerol (20) stearyl ether stearyl alcohol is added as a nonionic surfactant to give the objective cosmetics. |
