PURPOSE:To facilitate the assembling work, by forming some parts of a nosepiece of spectacles, which consists of a pad box and a stud or these parts and a connecting pin, with an alloy which can be restored to the original shape. CONSTITUTION:A pad box 2 consisting of a Ti-Ni alloy which can be restored to the original shape is fixed to a pad arm 1 projected from the frame of spectacles. Hole parts 3 on both sides of the pad box 2 are projected to the inside at 40 deg.C higher than the transformation point, and the temperature is lowered to a normal temperature (20 deg.C), and projections of hole parts 3 on both sides are returned to flat faces by plastic deformation. An attaching part 5 of a stud 4 is inserted to the pad box 2, and holes parts 3 and 6 of the pad box 2 and the attaching part 5 are allowed to coincide with each other, and the temperature is raised. When the temperature becomes higher than the transformation point, the shape of the pad box 2 is returned to the original shape, and hole parts 3 on both sides are projected again and are fitted to hole parts 6 of the stud 4. The attaching part 5 of the stud 4 and the pad box 2 have the relation of a pinless front joint, and the stud is freely shakable around holes parts 3 and 6 on both sides but is not slipped off from the pad box 2. |
