PURPOSE:To certainly realize buckling deformation of a rib by providing on the reinforce side such a receiving part as is engaged with the rib at the time of collision. CONSTITUTION:Unevenness of the rib 3 tip is formed by continuously providing approximately trapezoid convex parts 8 at regular intervals along the longitudinal diretion of the rib 3. On the other hand, oblong engagement holes 10, meeting the width size of the base end parts of the convex parts 8, are bored in a front wall 9 of a reinforce 1 at positions corresponding to convex parts 8 on the rib 3 tips. At the time of collision, since surface skin 2 of a bumper is deformed in such a condition as the rib 3 convex parts 8 are inserted in the engagement holes 10 bored in the reinforce 1, all the convex parts 8 are fitted in the engagement holes 10 causing buckling deformation of the ribs 3 in such a condition as the base end parts of the convex parts 8 are stopped around fringe parts of the engagement holes 10, and shock energy can be effectively absorbed. |
