PURPOSE:To improve the effect of heating by lowering the performance of heat insulation at a position where a person, etc. get on while enhancing heat-insulating property by elevating the performance of heat insulation at other portions, and to save power by setting a surface material up on the surface of a heating element through a compression layer of a large compressive deformation rate. CONSTITUTION:The surface material 3 is formed on the surface of the heating element 1 through the compression layer 2, and the back of the heating element 1 is coated with a back material 4. The compression layer 2 is formed by the quality of material of the large compressive deformation rate such as foamed urethane. Accordingly, the compression layer 2 functions as a heat-insulating layer, inhibits heat transfer to the surface material 3 from the heating element 1 and reduces a temperature rise of the surface of the surface material 3 and radiation to space from the surface material 3. When a person sits on the surface material 3, on the other hand, a distance between the person and the heating element 1 is brought close and heat is transmitted sufficiently to the person because the compression layer 2 is compressed only by said section. |
