PURPOSE:To stop both of conveying rolls at the same time, and to prevent breaking and staining of a copying paper sheet, by generating a stop signal to be fed to the conveying rolls short in time taken till stoppint their rotation at a time delayed than the time of a stop signal fed to the other conveying rolls. CONSTITUTION:When a paper jam signal is generated, rotation of a pair of original ejection rolls 5 are stopped somewhat delayed than that of a pair of original feed rolls 4. Therefore, output of an inverter 46 is fed to a NAND circuit 49 for driving an original feed solenoid 39 at a time delayed by a prescribed time through a delay circuit 51. This delay time is set to a value not below and almost equal to a time due to inertia necessary to stop rotation of the roll pair 5 from deenergizing a main motor. As a result, rotations of the roll pairs 4 and 5 are stopped almost at the same time, damaging and statining of the original 1 are prevented to protect it effectively. |
