PURPOSE:To support a disk, etc. with high stability and high accuracy, by shifting plural balls along the guide groove of a retainer which is energized in the axial direction to give centering to a conical slant part of a tapered member fixed to a spindle. CONSTITUTION:When a retainer 3 is energized in the axial direction by means of a retainer holder, balls 4 move always concentrically toward the outer circumference of a conical slant surface 5b of a tapered member 5 connected to a spindle and along long grooves 3a-3c, etc. of the retainer 3. These balls then abut the inner wall of the center shaft hole of a disk, etc. Thus the disk or the like are automatically centered on the spindle. In such a constitution, the disk- like member of the disk, etc. can be supported by the spindle with high stability and high accuracy. |
