PURPOSE:To prevent the titled tank from being influenced by the wind at the time of installation by a method wherein in case of the titled tank having a ball tap projecting from its hot water storing tank section, the tank section is made in the form of a box of a small thickness and the ball tap section is formed on the surface of the tank section other than the surfaces in the direction of the thickness thereof. CONSTITUTION:The hot water storage tank 1 is provided with the tank section 11 in the form of a rectangular parallelepiped of thin thickness and the ball tap section 12 projecting from the surface of the tank section other than the surfaces in the direction of the thickness thereof, for example, one of the side surfaces thereof. The ball tap section 12 is provided with a water receiving port 13 on one side thereof so that a city water pipe is connected to the port 13 and a ball tap 4 is fitted into the port 13. Further, the tank 1 is provided on the surface oppsite to the ball tap section 12 with connecting ports 14 and 15 to be connected to a collector (not shown). In case where the tank 1 is installed on the roof 2, the ball tap section 12 of the tank 1 is made to face the ridge of the roof 2. With the above structure, the tank 1 does not project high from the surface of the roof so that it is hardly influenced by the wind. |
