PURPOSE:To maintain the car running stable by performing steering correction to cancel turbulence applied to the car in its normal running condition. CONSTITUTION:An ECU 17 judges if the car is in normal running condition by receiving signals given by an auto drive switch 23, or according to signals from a car speed sensor 4, a front wheel steering angle sensor 3, an acceleration sensor 1 and a brake switch 2. If during this normal operating condition, either or both of the signals from a yawrate sensor 5 and a wind pressure sensor 6 is received by the ECU 17, it senses turbulence applied to the car. The corrective steering angle for thee car running is determined according to the turbulence to serve for steering control of the rear wheels 19. |
