<p>The racquet for ball games, mainly tennis. Has a weight (1) in its frame (2) which alters the position of the racket's centre of gravity during play. The weight also forms a shock absorber to absorb the vibrations of the racket and is placed in a lodging (7) inside the handle (3) of the racquet. It moves in the lodging which guides it and can be rigid, slightly deformable or a liquid. Several weights may be used and these may be housed in the base of the frame as well as in the handle.</p> |
