PURPOSE:To see a constellation of a specified time of a year at a glance, by interlocking a rotation of a revolving shaft of a clock and a rotation of a constellation plate, so that the constellation place performs one rotation by one day of a fixed star day. CONSTITUTION:A star group which can be seen over one year in a specified place in Japan is drawn successively along the circumferential direction on a discoid constellation plate 1, and many teeth 2 engaged with a driving gear 11 are formed like a gear on its outside circumferential face. A surface plate 4 and a back plate 5 of a body 3 are connected as one body by holding a prescribed interval by a connector 6, an elliptical window 7 is provided on the surface plate 4, and the constellation plate concerned 1 is supported so as to be freely rotatable through a supporting shaft 8 between the surface plate 4 and the back plate 5 of the body 3, so that the about lower half part of the constellation plate 1 can be seen from the window concerned 7. The size of the window 7 to the constellation plate 1 corresponds to a field of view which can be observed when looking up to the star group in a night sky from on the earth. |
