PURPOSE:To enable the optional alteration in the metallurgical and mechanical properties of deposited metal, by forming a core material and a hoop material covering the outside of the core material respectively by using dissimilar materials which form an alloy of desired components in a melted and mixed state. CONSTITUTION:For example, a nickel wire rod is used as a core material and a metal differing from the material 1, for example, copper, is used as a hoop material 2. A desired cupro-nickel alloy contg., for example, about 10% nickel is obtained as the deposited metal. The metallurgical and mechanical properties of the deposited metal are changed as desired by such wire. |
