PURPOSE:The titled foam that is made by crosslinking and foaming a composition containing specific amounts of a polyolefin thermoplastic resin, a low- crystallinity thermoplastic resin and electroconductive carbon, thus showing high moldability and electroconductivity and permitting easy production with quality stabilized. CONSTITUTION:A composition which is composed of 100-90pts.wt. of a polyolefin thermoplastic resin such as polyethylene, 10-90pts.wt. of a low-crystallinity thermoplastic resin such as ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer and 5-40pts.wt. of an electroconductive carbon such as electroconductive furnace black, when necessary, a different polymer, a flame retarder, antioxidant and others is mixed with a foaming agent for dispersion and they are crosslinked and formed by irradiation of electron rays or the like to give the objective foam of electroconductive thermoplastic resin. USE:Material for packing transporting and storing a variety of precise instruments such as electronic parts. |
