PURPOSE:To enable the measurement of the noise generated from a receiver to be measured or a detector without the influence of the residual noise of a signal generator by providing plural detectors for measurement in addition to the detector to be measured and making the outputs thereof equal. CONSTITUTION:The 1st and the 2nd attenuators 6-7 are provided; therefore, the detection efficiency of a receiver to be measured or a wave detection circuit 2 and the detection efficiency of the 1st and the 2nd wave detectors 4, 5 for measurement can be made apparently equal. In other words, a signal generator 1 is modulated to regulate the 1st and the 2nd attenuators 6, 7 in such a way that the indication of the 1st voltmeter 3 for effective value and the 3rd voltmeters 8, 9 for effective value are made equal. The outputs by the residual noises of the signal generator 1 among the outputs of the receiver to be measured or the circuit 2 and the attenuators 6, 7 when the generator is non-modulated after the regulation in such a way are all made equal. |
