PURPOSE:To automatically interpret a command name, which a user desires, in the system side to retrieve objective explanatory information by enumerating words approximating the meaning of the command or words whose spellings resemble the spelling of the command so that explanatory information can be taken out even if the user does not memorize the accurate spelling of the command name. CONSTITUTION:If the user forgets a TSS command mane (DELETE) and the use to input HELP, a command explanaory information retrieving part 27 is started. The user enumerates hit or miss words but the correct TSS command 'DELETE' is not included in them, and therefore, a command name deciding part 29 is called and is requested to decide the command name. The command name deciding part 29 checks whether there are words in a resembling command name table 30 or not, and one TS command is selected if only this TSS command is found there, and TSS commands are selected in the order of the size of common part if plural TSS commands are found, and the answer is sent to the command explanatory information retrieving part 27. The command explanatory information retrieving part 27 retrieves explanatory information of plural TSS commands and displays them successively. |
