PURPOSE:To obtain the titled sleeve which can be provided with an adhesive layer inside and has an excellent waterproofness and electrical insulating properties, by stretching the sleeve of a rubber elasticity radially at an ordinary temperature and fixing its outside via an adhesive into a metal case which is provided with a notch lengthwise. CONSTITUTION:E.g., by stretching the sleeve having a rubber elasticity (preferably, the cylindrical object of a uniform wall thickness composed of the elastomer of an ethylene-propylene rubber, etc. presenting an elongation above 200%) 12 at an ordinary temperature radially and fixing its outside via an adhesive (preferably, an epoxy adhesive, etc. which has a bond strength of two or more times of the shrink force of the rubber) 11 into the metal case (preferably, the thin wall metal cylinder of aluminum, iron, etc.) 10 provided with a notch (preferably, its depth is one fourth of the wall thickness,) 10a lengthwise, removing the metal case 10 in an arrow direction in a using time and making said sleeve 12 to shrink, the purpose sleeve is obtained.
