The invention relates to an apparatus for mixing two liquid and/or pasty components, particularly for mixing a base medium, such as epoxy resin, polyurethane, silicone, etc. with an appropriate specific activator, such as isocyanates (MDI, IDI) or the like, consisting of a housing with an inlet opening and an outlet opening and in which several mixing elements are arranged one behind the other between the inlet and outlet openings. The invention provides simple, cheaply manufactured mixing elements which are of a uniform design and are arranged, respectively turned through 90 DEG , one behind the other, to achieve a high degree of mixing and homogeneous mixing of the two components even with few mixing elements.
