Securing device for screw connections on brake discs

The securing device for screw connections on brake discs of the disc brakes of railway vehicles has a sheet-metal component (1) which is provided with through bores (3) for plugging onto the threaded bolt ends of the screw connections. The bores (3) are surrounded in the loose state of the sheet-metal component by spherical sections (4) which are to be pressed flat after being plugged onto the threaded bolt ends. During this pressing flat, the diameter (e) of the through bores (3) is reduced so that their edges engage into the thread of the threaded bolt ends. The sheet-metal component (1) can have sections (5) which engage laterally over the nuts to be secured and are bent over approximately at right angles. The securing device serves in particular to monitor unauthorised tampering with the screw connections. <IMAGE>
