Method of cleaning oil well fluid which, loaded with bored material, is first of all freed of the coarser particles, the so-called cuttings of correspondingly large size, by screening or the like and the finer solid matter is extracted in a following treatment operation, in the course of which, for simpler and cheaper development of this cleaning process, the procedure is to pass the oil well fluid over two successive rotary screening sections, in the first of which the cuttings are separated and in the second of which a phase with finer solid matter is separated.
