In a stand, the two stand columns are produced by the limbs (3, 4) of a vertically arranged U-profile (1). This U-profile may be bent from a tube and may thus have considerable stability. However, the stability is increased in that the free ends of the limbs (3, 4) are connected to one another by a pivoting shaft (7) of the stand. This pivoting shaft (7) produces a closed rectangle from the vertical U-profile (1). Gas-pressure springs (11, 12), which are joined to the limbs (3, 4) and to arms (8, 9) which support the radiation lamp, are used to compensate for the weight of the radiation lamp. <IMAGE> |
