In this container, catches (5) are formed on the upper container edge (1) and/or (2) on webs (2a) which, when the container is being closed, wedge non-positively with the cover via bosses (12a and 5a) by means of a retaining web (12) formed on the cover. It is thereby possible to remove the cover only by tearing the cross-sectional surface (12III) of the retaining web (12), with the result that a not yet opened or already opened container is thus identified, and an originality safeguard closure is guaranteed. <IMAGE>
