In order to prevent peaks in the noise level inside the passenger compartment of a means of transport, caused by unit vibrations, the actual unit bearing (1) has air chambers (7, 8) on both sides of an intermediate mass (4) resiliently held freely suspended between the connections (2, 3), the air pressure of which chambers can be varied according to a predetermined, stored correlation as a function of a unit parameter important for the noise level in the passenger compartment, for the purpose of shifting the resonance frequency of the actual unit bearing (1). <IMAGE>
