Scaffold for attachment to roof edges

A scaffold for attachment to roof edges of preferably flat roofs is proposed, in which a plurality of rod-shaped outer supports can be attached in a vertical position to the facade outside the roof in such a way that roofing work is not hindered by the scaffold. The outer supports are hooked onto the facade or the roof edge by means of a hook-on element and supported against the facade underneath the hook-on element. Lying opposite the supporting device is a transverse support which extends roughly horizontally in the use position and has at its end a device for receiving a tensioning rope. The tensioning rope is fixed, on the one hand, to the upper end of the outer support and, on the other hand, underneath the outer support to the facade. A plurality of such outer supports attached at distances from one another are connected to one another by means of scaffolding elements. Opposite outer supports can be connected to one another by means of roof tensioning ropes which are supported, approximately in the centre of the spacing between opposite outer supports, on central supports erected loosely on the roof surface. A sheet and hence a rain protection can be applied in a simple manner to the roof scaffold thus constructed.
