The flying objects have a light axis and the deflection system is used for protection against being shot down. It consists of a potentiometer and a control circuit, which supplies control commands to the flying object. The position of the object is measured by a goniometer. The same wavelength window is used for the visor. There are reflectors accurately tuned to the wavelength of the light axis, which suppress the total radiation from the light axis and reflect it to the goniometer. The remaining radiation is conveyed to the visor.
