Switching system arrangement for electrical switching apparatuses

The invention relates to electrical switching apparatuses, especially contactors. The aim and object of the invention are to save contact material, especially to reduce the proportion of inadequately utilised contact material, which results from manufacturing tolerances and play displacement. The solution was found in that the displacement of the moving switching element with respect to the stationary switching elements, resulting from play, is compensated for by a partially asymmetric arrangement of the switching device. The asymmetry is achieved in that the crossbar is arranged asymmetrically. It is furthermore possible to construct the housing parts which are used for guiding the crossbar asymmetrically or to arrange the moving and/or stationary switching elements asymmetrically. Springs are also used as an aid. Further fields of application may include control stations.
