PURPOSE:To generate a pulse width modulation wave for reducing a high frequency with a simple circuit configuration by composing it of an oscillator, a frequency divider, a ring counter and a pulse forming logic circuit. CONSTITUTION:The output of an oscillation 10 is divided by 1/M by a frequency divider 13, the ouput of which is applied to L-stage ring counter 14. The output of the counter 14 and the output of the oscillator 10 are applied t a pulse forming logic circuit 15. The circuit 15 forms one or more pulses which have 50% of duty with widths of (pi/1L) in the ranges of 0-pi/2L, pi-pi/2L-pi, pi- pi+pi/2L, 2pi-pi/2L-2pi based on the inputs from the circuit 15, and the pulse of pi-pi/L of the range of pi/2L-pi-pi/2L is formed. The output from the circuit 15 is applied to the transistors 29-34 of the bridge type inverter. |
