PURPOSE:To reduce the drawing resistance of an ink ribbon by providing at least one turnable roller in the neighborhood of the outlet of the ribbon of a storage chamber in which the ink ribbon is housed in an irregular state. CONSTITUTION:A set of gears 3 and 4 are provided at the ribbon inlet of a storage chamber 5 in which an ink ribbon 6 of endless loop is housed in an irreqular state, by which the ink ribbon 6 is drawn into the storage chamber 5. In such an endless ink ribbon cassette, at least one roller 12 is rotatably provided in the neighborhood of the ribbon outlet of the storage chamber 5. By this, even when the ink ribbon 6 is pressed on the downside of the outlet side of a partition wall 1a by other ink ribbon 6 and a great frictional force is applied to the ribbon 6, the ink ribbon 6 can be drawn out with small forces. |
