ARound the shaping mandrel (1), a flat casing body (2) is wrapped and sealed to form a casing. After wrapping, the casing edges are sealed. The mandrel comprises a fixed body with an outer surface wholly corresp. to the casing inner surface to be produced. The mandrel has one or more longitudinal tracks (12) in which rods (13) are fitted, part of the length of each having an outer surface which is complementary to the mandrel body (11) outer surface. Along a further part of the length of each rod is a chamfered outer surface. Sprung projecting heels can grip in a specific position at the rear of the formed casing to remove it from the shaping position. |
