PURPOSE:To prevent the temperature rise of a vane bearing and improve the durability and reliability of the pump by a method wherein a pivot shaft serving as the fixing shaft of the vane bearing in an enclosed rotor is utilized as a cooler in which cooling fluid can be flowed. CONSTITUTION:A vane 2 is rotated together with the rotation of the rotor 1 about the pivot shaft 5 serving as the fixing shaft of the vane bearing 3 and fixed to a rear cover 6. The pivot shaft 5 is hollow as shown by the diagram and a pipe 5b is inserted into the inner part thereof while a cap 5a is being opened at the end 5c thereof. Accordingly, the pivot shaft 5 can be kept at a low temperature by flowing water for cooling or oil from the pipe 5b and discharging it out of the cap 5a. According to this method, the temperature rise of the vane bearing 3 may be prevented and the durability as well as the reliability thereof may be improved. |
