<p>A method of applying a protective coating to an article comprises the steps of applying to said article a coating of a polyolefin, applying to said coating a layer of glass cloth or sheet plastics material and applying to said glass cloth or sheet plastics material a surface coating. The polyolefin, in the form of an amorphous polypropylene or an atactic polypropylene, will be applied to a thickness of the order of 4 mm, and the surface coating will be one or more layers of polyurethane paint.</p> |
