PURPOSE:To delay ignition timing in high-speed running without providing a special signal generator by a method wherein a part of rising edge of an output waveform in the negative direction of a capacitor charging coil for the magnetic generator is shunted. CONSTITUTION:The output of an F-V converting circuit 200 is flowed to the base of a transistor 27 connected in parallel to the gate circuit of a main thyristor 24 through a resistor 40 and a diode 22 to operate the transistor 27. When a revolving number is increased into a high-speed revolution zone, the output voltage of the F-V converting circuit 200 arrives at the operating level of a spark-delay contdrol circuit 300 and the part of the rising edge of the ignition signal is shunted by the same circuit 300 or the transistor 27 through resistors 41, 42, therefore, the ignition timing is delayed in proportional to the revolving number of the engine in the high speed. |
