PURPOSE:To reinforce a dam without damaging the dam by connecting reinforcing beams fixed near the connecting portion with the anchor frame of a yoke girder for supporting a gate and a pressure supporting plate for fixing the dam by using a tension bar. CONSTITUTION:A concavity is digged around the yoke girder 5 of a dam 1, and plural holes 8 for grout-rock bolts, leading to the concavity and also being almost in parallel with the anchor frame 8, are drilled in the dam 1. Grout-rock bolts 11 are fixed to the dam 1, and a pressure supporting plate 12 inserted into the concavity is fixed to the bolts 11 with nuts 13. Then, reinforcing beams 14 are inserted into the concavity, the central part is welded to a girder 5, and a tension bar 16 with a turnbuckle 15 is thrust through the hole of the pressure supporting plate 12 and the hole of the reinforcing beams 14. The bar 16 is then fixed with nuts 17 to the pressure supporting plate 12 and the reinforcing beams 14, the buckle 15 is adjusted while gradually applying a water pressure to the gate and also conforming excessive loads by a detector, a given load is shared to the tension bar 16, and concrete is placed into the concavity. |
