Manual encapsulating machine for placing a capsule over pressurised-gas bottle valves. The encapsulating machine comprises a frame (1), in particular in a swan-neck shape, provided with an operating handle (4), a crimping head (12) which can move in the frame and interacts with an anvil (3) integrally connected to the frame, a fluid-actuation device (2) for guiding the said crimping head (12), a head-return mechanism (9) and a fluid-control device (10) provided with regulating and safety means. Application to installations for filling gas bottles.
