The procedure for dyeing synthetic fiber (nylon, polyester, etc.) yarns is as follows. The yarns are pre-treated to prepare the fibers for dyeing and are transported through the first roller to a heat chamber. There they are heated to their softening temperature and until they are sufficiently contracted. The yarns are then transported through the second roll to a yarning roll. The rotating speed ratio of the lst and 2nd rolls is controlled by the second roll to maintain the yarns contracted state. Yarning tension is controlled to 0.005-0.09 g/d for deep and uniform dyeing inside yarn layers.
