PURPOSE:To print serial numbers automatically by providing an electronic cash register with an area for storing serial numbers, and advancing data in the number area every time an article is registered and printing out the data together with another article registration data. CONSTITUTION:The department, quantity, and unit price of articles when inputted on a keyboard 5 are stored in an RAM10 under the control of a CPU8 according to a program in an ROM9 and they are displayed on a display 6 and printed out on a printer 7. The RAM10 is provided with the area for storing serial numbers and the number is increased every time an article is registered to be printed out together with another article registration data. Consequently, the serial numbers are printed out automatically. This is suitable when customer's articles are kept temporarily for repair. |
