<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate unit-to-unit conversion, by providing plural unit keys and a memory for storing conversion rates between units, and operating numeric keys and the unit keys. CONSTITUTION:A mode key 11, and keys 12-15 for units 1-4 are provided in addition to keys that a normal small-sized desk calculator has. An initial-vale setting mode is set with the mode key 11 and the unit keys 12-15 are allotted for dollar, yen, mark, and pound; and numeric keys 2, 3, and 3 and the unit keys 13 and 12 are pressed to input an initial value, i.e. 233 yen for one dollar. Similarly, conversion rates of mark and pound are set. Then, an execution mode is set with the mode key 11 and, for example, when 1,000 yen is converted to dollar, numeric keys 1, 0, 0, and 0 and the unit keys 13 and 12 are pressed to calculate 1,000divided by 233, displaying 4.2918.... Consequently, conversion between various units is facilitated.</p> |
