PURPOSE:To facilitate operation and to simplify the constitution of a system, by converting an input signa from a keyboard into a code according to a code conversion table and storing and displaying the code, and also inputting it directly to an electronic computer. CONSTITUTION:When alphabet, number, and KANA (Japanese syllabary) characters and signals from a line end key, and a row and a column shift key are inputted from a keyboard KB, they are converted into codes by code conversion CDC while referring to the code conversion table CTB. A record generation part RCD adds a record number to obtain a generation record. Three - five lines of data are brought under display control DSC during input from the KB and are checked while displaying on a display DSP. The codes are transferred from a generation record part to a memory MM under memory control MC and are sent to a host CPU through an external sending circuit OCT. Further, they may be written in a CPU by referring to MM generated at distance. Consequently, the need for punching is eliminated and a code writing place is not limited to simplify the system. |
