PURPOSE:To make secure correction by providing an electronic cash register with an area for storing a pattern for the correction, and superposing a correcting pattern on a pattern to be corrected to display the pattern. CONSTITUTION:The department, quantity, and price of article are inputted on a keyboard 4 to be stored in an RAM10 under the control of a CPU8 according to a program in an ROM9 and also printed out on a printer 7, and the total amount is displayed on a front display 5 and a remote display 6. For a halfway correction, a correction key on the keyboard 4 is pressed to superpose a correcting pattern, e.g. (=) on a pattern to be corrected and to display the pattern. Consequently, the correction is secured and confirmed. |
