<p>PURPOSE:To provide the device with a self cooling function and omit the circulating and cooling device of lubricating oil by a method wherein the rotary shaft of a main motor is equipped with a cooling fan located near the outer wall of the bottom surface of an oil tank and a ventilating path for said fan, which is surrounding the oil tank and equipped with a discharging port, is formed. CONSTITUTION:The rotary shaft 15 of the main motor 13 is provided with the fan 32 near the outer wall of the bottom surface of the oil tank 22. The fan 32 is rotated at the normal revolving number of the main motor 13 during a nuclear furnace is being operated, and the revolving number is reduced in proportion to the speed reduction of the main motor 13 after the stopping operation of the nuclear furnace while the main motor continues the rotation thereof at a constant low speed as far as the pony motor 20 is being operated after an overrunning clutch 16 is engaged. Once in a while, air, introduced from a suction port 35, passes through a clearance between a side wall provided with cooling fins 39 and a cover 37 from the outer wall of the bottom surface of the oil tank 22 bia a ventilating port 36 and cools the lubricating oil 23 during passing, cools a reduction gear 19 at the last and is discharged from the discharging port 38. According to this method, devices and systems necessary for the circulation and the cooling of the lubricating oil may be omitted.</p> |
