PURPOSE:To capacitate the contact of a large amount of air with fins in the vicinity of inlet, at which heat-exchange efficiency is high, by a structure wherein the shape of the corrugated fin used in evaporator or the like is formed so as to develop very small inflowing resistance in the vicinity of the air inflowing port. CONSTITUTION:The air passing between the end part 14 of the corrugated fin 10 and the peak part 15, which is located above the end part 14, of the corrugated fin 10 flows intact without resistance along the under surface of a rear flat part 12b and at the same time through holes 13a produced by the formation of louver 13 in the rear flat part 12. On the other hand, the air indicated with dashed line or directed toward an opening 16 flows in the opening 16 without resistance, because the opening 16 is enough large and, after that, guided by the peak part 15, along the under surface of the rear flat part 12b. Because the air flows without resistance in the corrugated fin 10, the condensate generated on the surface of the corrugated fin 10 is scraped off by the high speed air flowing along the upper surface of the rear flat part 12b. |
